Terms of use
These govern your use of this website. They are not our trading terms — those are separate.
Last updated 5 August 2026
Scope
These terms apply to intl.hansalogistics.com and everything published on it. They do not govern the carriage, storage or handling of goods; that is dealt with in our terms and conditions, which take precedence in any commercial relationship.
By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.
What you may do
You may read, quote from and print these pages for your own information and for the purpose of planning or evaluating a shipment. You may link to any page. Attribution is appreciated and, where you reproduce a jurisdiction summary, expected.
What you may not do
- Systematically extract, scrape or republish the jurisdiction database, in whole or in substantial part, as a competing dataset or service.
- Present our summaries as your own regulatory advice, or as advice at all.
- Interfere with the site’s operation, probe it for vulnerabilities outside the terms of our responsible disclosure policy, or attempt to access anything not intended to be public.
- Use the enquiry form for anything other than a genuine enquiry.
- Remove or obscure any copyright or attribution notice.
The status of what we publish
The jurisdiction overviews summarise, in general terms, how dangerous goods are regulated in a given country or US state. They are compiled from the public sources cited on each page. They are:
- general — they do not account for your cargo, its classification, packaging, quantity, route, mode or timing;
- not advice — legal, regulatory or otherwise, and no adviser-client relationship arises from reading them;
- not a statement of our own approvals — describing a jurisdiction’s regime is not a claim that we hold any licence or permit in it;
- liable to be out of date — regulations change, sometimes at short notice.
Confirm current requirements with the competent authority, or ask us, before acting. To the fullest extent the law permits, we exclude liability for decisions taken on the basis of these summaries alone. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Availability
We do not warrant that the site will be available uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including individual jurisdiction pages, without notice.
Intellectual property
The text, design, code and compiled data on this site belong to us or to our licensors. Country and state outlines are derived from Natural Earth, which is in the public domain. Material quoted from regulators and treaty bodies remains theirs and is cited on the page that uses it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by German law. Where you are a merchant, a legal person under public law or a special fund under public law, the courts of TO CONFIRM: confirm the agreed place of jurisdiction — usually the registered office or the seat of the competent Landgericht have exclusive jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protections are unaffected.
