Road freight for dangerous goods
ADR road transport across Europe with our own fleet, including collection and delivery to any port or airport.
In short
The European road leg is run on our own vehicles with our own drivers. That is the difference between knowing where a consignment is and asking someone else.
What governs it
ADR governs road carriage across Europe: vehicle and driver certification, placarding, load segregation, quantity thresholds and tunnel category restrictions. Class 1 adds national explosives permits and, on many routes, prescribed routing and escort requirements.
What we arrange
- ADR-certified vehicles and drivers across Europe
- Subclass 1.1 up to a net explosive mass of 16 tonnes per vehicle
- Side-opening trailers, 13 metres, for long items such as rockets
- Collection and delivery to any port, airport or rail terminal
- Tunnel category and route restriction planning
- National permits and notifications
- Escorted movement where the cargo or route requires it
On the vehicles
Real-time GPS monitoring with geofencing, door-opening alarms and emergency labelling. Drivers hold the ADR advanced course for Class 1 and Class 7 and a permit under § 20 of the Explosives Act, and are retrained annually.
Moving something that needs road freight?
Send the cargo, the two ends of the lane and the date. If we cannot move it ourselves we will tell you who can — same day.
