Transport av farligt gods regleras av ADR, RID, IMDG, ICAO-TI tillsammans med nationella genomforanderegler. Explosiva varor i klass 1 kraver normalt ett separat tillstand eller godkannande fran behorig myndighet. Fore avsandning ska godkanda rutter, tunnel- eller brorestriktioner, eskorter, gransformaliteter och hamnens eller flygplatsens mottagande bekraftas.
